We’ve made updates to the Journey section to give you greater control over visibility and access to key employee information. This improvement helps foster a culture of transparency while empowering employees with relevant data about their career path in the company.
The Journey is a section within the employee profile where you can review the most important milestones of their time at the organization, such as their hiring date, contract changes, salary and position updates, and assigned roles, through an interactive and visually engaging timeline.
🚀 What’s new in this update
- Visibility settings. From Configuration > Automations > Section visibility, you can now enable an option for employees to view their own Journey and access key information about their growth in the company.
- Journey visibility changes. With this new setting, privacy is a priority. From now on, only the employee and those with the Owner role will be able to access this information. Managers and HR administrators will no longer have visibility of this section.
- More data available on the timeline. We’ve added extra details to make the Journey more complete. Employees and Owners will now be able to see on the timeline:
- Contract seniority date.
- Assigned salary supplements.
- Plus all existing key information, such as hiring date, assigned role, salary updates, position changes, and more.
With these improvements, we’re not only making data management easier, but also providing a valuable tool for both employees and the company to better understand career development and progression within the organization.
