We’ve added a new feature that allows you to configure notifications for different roles within Sesame whenever there is a shift change. Until now, only the affected employee received the notification when a shift change occurred. Now, you can adjust the settings to ensure that any role you choose receives the notification. How can you do this?
It’s very easy! Go to Configuration >> Automations >> Notifications and enable the option “Notify employees about shift changes“. You can decide whether the affected employee will receive the notification for the change and also choose which other roles should receive it. You can select from all the higer and lower roles available in Sesame. As indicated in the configuration, a notification will be sent to the designated role whenever there are changes in the shift timetable. Roles will receive the notification via email.
If the employees must receive the notification, you’ll also need to choose the type of notification. Check the corresponding symbol for email and/or push notification on the phone.
